Using TiAln coated, 4fl, Imco Powerfeeds, we ran around 350sfm for Dia/Depth across welded intersections, and 400sfm for profiling cuts @ 0.002" IPT, chip thinning the feed. We got great tool life out of the mills, in less than optimal conditions, on a Cat40. The material is tough, but not too hard.

A couple of years ago we made a bunch of "bit breakers" out of 2" flame cut A514 and used Mitsubishi feed mills with good results. They said to run them dry with air blast but we doubled tool life by running wet with air blast. Iscar cham drills handled holes nicely, and cleanup finishing passes were run with 5 flute Destiny mills.
